Modern Mulan

I was wondering: what if Disney princesses lived today? What would be their attitudes? This is the result.

Since Mulan originally was a little tomboyish, I imagined her like this, riding a skateboard instead of a horse. She was a fighter, trying to find herself among expectations of people she encountered. That was, to me, the message of the movie - be yourself even if it means being different from what everybody expects of you.

Mulan was very courageous. In the 21st century I see her as an independent, passionate girl who doesn't care much about appearances, is not afraid of what others think and even got a tattoo
